حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ، بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ هِلاَلٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَزَادَ بَعْدَ قَوْلِهِ قُلْتُ فَاكْفِنِي حَتَّى أَذْهَبَ فَأَنْظُرَ ‏.‏ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَكُنْ عَلَى حَذَرٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ فَإِنَّهُمْ قَدْ شَنِفُوا لَهُ وَتَجَهَّمُوا ‏.‏

This hadlth has been narrated on the authority of Humaid b. Hilal with the same chain of transmitters but with this addition: " As I came to Mecca, Unais said: (Well), go but be on your guard against the Meccans for they are his enemies and are annoyed with him."
